Installing perl on my laptop right now. I know, I know- it's late. But, I don't have to work tomorrow. Just bake some bread, eat some food, read Great Expectations . Ugh, this is tiresome (being up late)....

(I believe) My parents bought their first computer the year I was born. It was a Kaypro IV --a marvel in its day. A screaming 2.5Mhz processor coupled with 64Kb RAM (as Bill Gates said, who would ever need more?). Oh...and CP/M. (Using CP/M, one had to insert the disk with the OS while booting, then insert another with wha...

It's simply the greatest--faster than regular old Mozilla (which, by the way, is still leagues ahead of Internet Explorer or Opera ) and all Firey and Birdey... yeah... Ugh. I'm all sore because we've created a "do some pushups before bed" tradition in my apartment, and I haven't worked...

I've started trying out Mozilla Firebird 0.7 , which is supposed to be even better than Mozilla itself. It's pretty good so far; and it is a lot faster. I haven't seen any rendering problems or mis-implemented CSS bugs... I'll give my approval before too long, I'm sure. Ooh... it just failed to connect to Arctic. Or maybe...
